What are the dates and times for Springs Spree -  A City In Celebration - 2012?

     Saturday, June 16th - 9:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M.

     Sunday, June 17th - 10:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.

 

What is the price of admission?

Admission to the event is ABSOLUTELY FREE - NADA - NOTHING - $0.00 - COME CELEBRATE WITH US!  Vendors do charge for certain activities within the event but all entertainment on the 3 stages, the street entertainers, etc are provided at no charge.

 

What's new this year?

We've expanded the grounds to allow for even more vendors than ever!  Come see the World's Largest pin  ball machine, Colorado Disc Dogs and much more!

 

Is public parking available?

Yes - public parking is available but limited in Memorial Park. Close parking will be provided by The T-Gap Lions and Boyscouts of America for $5 or $10 dollar donation, two locations.

1. Printers Park Community Health Center: 340 Printers Parkway

2. Peak Vista: 225 S. Union Blvd.

Parking is always avaiable in neighborhoods surrounding Memorial Park.

 

Metro Rides FREE Bike Valet Service at SpringsSpree

Metro Rides will be offering FREE Bike Valet Service at SpringsSpree on June 18th and 19th.
 
The event will be held at Memorial Park and the Bike Valet Service will be located at tennis
Courts 14 & 15.
 
Riders simply ride to the tennis courts and fill out a claim check. We park your bike and watch
over your bike and gear while you enjoy the festival. When you’re ready to leave, present your
claim check at the bike valet table, and your bike will be returned to you.
 
Free bike valet service is available during the hours of the festival. Bikes must be picked up
by closing time of the event which is 7:00pm on Saturday and 5:00pm on Sunday!
 
Can I bring my dog or other pet to the event?
Springs Spree 2011 is dog-friendly; however, anyone who brings a dog to Springs Spree 2012 assumes all responsibility and liability for any harm that may occur as a result of the dog’s behavior.  All dogs must be on a leash. All owners must clean up their dog’s waste. The Colorado Springs Police Department will eject the owner and any dog that poses, or appears to pose, a threat to anyone attending Springs Spree 2012. No other pets are allowed at Springs Spree 2012.

Yes - We are still looking for bands from singles to large bands and all types of genres of music.  Please send us an email  - springsspree@gmail.com - tell us about yourself and your group - our entertainment committee will be in touch shortly.

 

How will I know what to do or where to go once I arrive at the event?

Our home page has a link to a map that you can download and print showing the layout for this year's event.  Or just click this map link.  Additionally, the Entertainment page has a schedule showing the times for the entertainment on all 3 stages throught the day(s).

 

What kind of security will be on hand?

The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) will be onsite all day during the event.
