About Springs Spree
Is it the satisfying smell of bratwurst cooking over a grill on a hot summer day?
Is it the sweet taste of powdered sugar sprinkled over hundreds of funnel cakes well washed down by the refreshing taste of Pepsi? Maybe it’s the sight of laughing children as they roll down the hill in a human hamster ball or the overwhelming view atop the grassy slope in Memorial Park as thousands of spectators enjoy themselves with family and friends along with the picture perfect backdrop of Pikes Peak. Whatever the answer is that makes Springs Spree so special, it is simply a reminder deep within each of our hearts based on a fun loving memory or experience of years past. The true definition of Springs Spree is “A Beautiful World-Class City in Celebration!” On behalf of the Springs Spree Board of Directors, we would like to invite everyone to participate in the 36th Annual Springs Spree, Saturday June 15th and Sunday June 16th in Memorial Park.
Springs Spree is one of Colorado Springs’ oldest community celebrations. Over the past 36 years, this celebration has been the region’s most anticipated events of the year with up to 70,000 people in attendance, enjoying 2 days of Music, Food and Free Family Fun For Everyone. Springs Spree 2013 continues the local tradition of ushering in a summer of excitement.
Local and national musicians will perform live on our stages all day and into the evening. This year’s music will include a variety of genres such as Folk, Country, Rock, Old School, R&B, and even Karaoke. Springs Spree will have more than 10 cultural dance groups along with a handful of street performers that will fill Memorial Park for two full days. Click to view our entertainment schedule.
Springs Spree 2013 will offer two full days of fun for the whole family; KID ZONE, Universal Kempo Karate Demonstrations, Human Hamster Ball Rides, 3 stages of Live Entertainment all day long not to mention Great Shopping from hundreds of Food, Arts & Crafts and Special Booth Vendors! Springs Spree has something for everyone. Come join us this year as we introduce the Springs Spree Custom Motor Sports Show that will include a variety of vehicles that are sure to impress Dad!
This year’s exciting event celebrates the richness and diversity of this great city, enriching the quality of life for residents and attracting state-wide audiences. In 2013, Springs Spree will remain as a two day celebration that has traditionally been known for decades. We are proud to share this family fun event at our cities favorite gathering location… Memorial Park! Colorado Springs is a city we all can take great pride in together as a community. So why go on vacation, when you can have the ultimate “Stay-Cation” at this year’s Annual Springs Spree.
